Webuzo System Application Updated : Nginx (1.8.1)

Webuzo Nginx LogoClick install Nginx from the Webuzo Library. Nginx does mot rely on threads to handle requests. Instead it uses a much more scalable event-driven (asynchronous) architecture. This architecture uses small, but more importantly, predictable amounts of memory under load.

We have also updated OpenSSL to 1.0.1s and its related libraries. We recommend that you update them all as soon as possible.

Webuzo System Application Updated : OpenSSL (1.0.1s)

Webuzo OpenSSL LogoClick install OpenSSL from the Webuzo Library. OpenSSL is a collaborative effort to develop a robust, commercial-grade, full-featured, and Open Source toolkit implementing the Security protocols as well as a full-strength general purpose cryptography library.

We have also updated FreeTDS, GNU dbm, SSH and XSLT. We recommend that you update them as soon as possible to keep yourself safe from SSL vulnerabilities like all Heartbleed and DROWN. You can update them from the Update System Apps option under Advance Settings tab.

Webuzo 2.4.1 Released

The Webuzo Team has released Webuzo 2.4.1. This version introduces minor improvements and fixes.
The following is a list of all changes :

1) [Fix] : We have update the Exim package to address the POODLE and DROWN vulnerabilities with SSL. You will have to reinstall Exim for the changes to take effect.

2) [Fix] : We have made some minor changes to the API.

We have also going to push a lot of updates for the system apps for SSL very soon. We hope you like this version of Webuzo.

Webuzo 2.4.0 Released

The Webuzo Team has released Webuzo 2.4.0. This version introduces major improvements and bug fixes.
The following is a list of all changes :

1) [Improvement] : We are glad to announce that Webuzo will now fully support CentOS 7 and above.

2) [Improvement] : Webuzo will now detect if its services are running when the system boots and will automatically start if needed.

3) [Improvement] : Script Logos in Softaculous Enduser panel will now be loaded from the server itself instead of Softaculous Mirror servers thus making the logos load faster.

4) [Feature] : You can now disable the emails received from Cron Job from settings page of Admin panel.

5) [Feature] : Users can now set a global SOA expiry value for all their domains from Admin panel.

6) [Feature] : You will now be able to view Apache2 Server information and status in the Services page.

7) [Feature] : Added option to install WordPress themes from the Edit Installation page in Softaculous Enduser panel.

8) [Bug Fix] : Updates of Scripts were not shown on Webuzo main page. This is now fixed.

9) [Bug Fix] : Deleting a MX record resulted in deletion of the record directly below it. This is now fixed.

10) [Bug Fix] : Auto Upgrade email notifications were sent to the user even when the “Turn off all Emails sent to endusers” was enabled from Softaculous Admin panel. This is fixed now.

11) [Bug Fix] : In case of scripts with multiple branch, Script Update available notification Email was sent incorrectly to upgrade to parent when the upgrade was not possible. This is fixed now.

12) [Task] : We are ending the support of 32 bit systems. Existing Webuzo will continue to function but will no longer receive updates and security fixes.

We have also pushed lots of updates for the system apps. We hope you like this version of Webuzo.
