Webuzo 2.4.0 Released

The Webuzo Team has released Webuzo 2.4.0. This version introduces major improvements and bug fixes.
The following is a list of all changes :

1) [Improvement] : We are glad to announce that Webuzo will now fully support CentOS 7 and above.

2) [Improvement] : Webuzo will now detect if its services are running when the system boots and will automatically start if needed.

3) [Improvement] : Script Logos in Softaculous Enduser panel will now be loaded from the server itself instead of Softaculous Mirror servers thus making the logos load faster.

4) [Feature] : You can now disable the emails received from Cron Job from settings page of Admin panel.

5) [Feature] : Users can now set a global SOA expiry value for all their domains from Admin panel.

6) [Feature] : You will now be able to view Apache2 Server information and status in the Services page.

7) [Feature] : Added option to install WordPress themes from the Edit Installation page in Softaculous Enduser panel.

8) [Bug Fix] : Updates of Scripts were not shown on Webuzo main page. This is now fixed.

9) [Bug Fix] : Deleting a MX record resulted in deletion of the record directly below it. This is now fixed.

10) [Bug Fix] : Auto Upgrade email notifications were sent to the user even when the “Turn off all Emails sent to endusers” was enabled from Softaculous Admin panel. This is fixed now.

11) [Bug Fix] : In case of scripts with multiple branch, Script Update available notification Email was sent incorrectly to upgrade to parent when the upgrade was not possible. This is fixed now.

12) [Task] : We are ending the support of 32 bit systems. Existing Webuzo will continue to function but will no longer receive updates and security fixes.

We have also pushed lots of updates for the system apps. We hope you like this version of Webuzo.

Webuzo 2.3.9 Released

The Webuzo Team has released Webuzo 2.3.9. This version introduces minor improvements in performance and bug fixes.
The following is a list of all changes :

1) [Feature] : You will now be able to change passwords of database users from Manage Database section in the panel.

2) [Feature] : Added option in Webuzo enduser panel to import installations from Remote servers.

3) [Improvement] : If ‘Disable System Applications Installations’ is checked in Admin panel, user will not be able to update System Apps unless logged in as root.

4) [Improvement] : We have improved the SDK functioning.

5) [Bug Fix] : PHP 7.0.x did not work with Apache and Apache2 web servers. This is now fixed.

6) [Bug Fix] : PHP 7.0.x was not listed on PHP configuration page. This is now fixed.

7) [Bug Fix] : File uploading from File Manager and phpMyAdmin resulted in error. Now users will be able to upload file with size upto 50MB. Existing user will however need to run service webuzo restart for the changes to take effect.

8) [Bug Fix] : ‘From’ Name was not set in Email headers when the emails were sent via SMTP. This is fixed now.

9) [Bug Fix] : Using some special characters like “é” in Site Name or Site Description while installing a script caused the PHP unserialization to break while listing the installations. This is fixed now.

Webuzo 2.3.8 Released

The Webuzo Team has released Webuzo 2.3.8. This version introduces PHP 7 and minor improvements in performance and bug fixes.
The following is a list of all changes :

1) [Feature] : You can now install and use PHP 7.0 from Webuzo

2) [Improvement] : You can choose to enable database prefix from the admin panel. If disabled, you can create database and its user without any prefix. By default the database prefix will now be disabled.

3) [Bug Fix] : AWstats was not working due to issues in conf file. This has been fixed.

4) [Bug Fix] : Application backup emails would show PHP errors even on successful completion. This is now fixed.

5) [Bug Fix] : Since 2.3.7 total bandwidth setting would not be set and would remain unlimited. This is now fixed.

6) [Bug Fix] : Buttons in ‘Simple’ theme did not respond on many pages. This is now fixed.

7) [Bug Fix] : Adding new domain with Apache2 as the default web-server did not work because the apache2 service never used to start. This is now fixed.

We have also pushed lots of updates for the system apps. We hope you like this version of Webuzo.
