For me and much of others, this script is very powerful and very extensible. Personalize it according to your wish and to add additional functionalities graces to many the plugins. If you seek a simple gallery, effective, beautiful and rich person of functionalities, Piwigo is the software that you need!

Installed easily, pics uploaded without hassle, organised well and added captions easily. All done in one evening. Altogether to be recommended.

It's really a great script. Very active with updates and support. I've been playing around with many other scripts, but this is the ONE for me

Piwigo has far and away the simplest end-user and admin functionality I have seen in an image gallery. Very nice!

Spend 2 days with phpAlbum made alle work then i wanted to add contact form to menu and had to create new page for it, that was impossible, so phpAlbum had to go. and lucky for that , else i maybe newer had found this fa bolus professional good looking user friendley advanced system :)

I'ts got pretty much everything I was looking for, thanks to the big list of plugins available. I particularly like the Google+ style layount of pictures and the piclens/cooliris diaporama that I recently discovered. Superbe work, highly recommended!

This is top of the line in terms of free/open source image hosts. It has great features, it's simple yet aesthetically pleasing, customizable... I've tried other ones but this seems to be the best so far.
